Scars often reminds me of something that I'm going to live with the rest of my life, it can be a Tragedy or something very simple that is in our subconscious. Tragedies are always related to pain, and the visual image we get from pain is a person suffering.
I started to observe images of dead people, people in pain, suffering, crying... etc.
Humans spend a lot of hours during the day in a vertical position. when the body is in an horizontal position is when the body is in rest. If we start observing other moments that the body spends time in a horizontal position for an extended period is when we are dead or sick...
I came across a few stories but the most interesting one was THE FACTS IN THE CASE OF M. VALDEMAR by Edgar Allan Poe, which talks about a man who is lying in bed and we are not sure if he is sleeping or dead. While reading this story I kept in my mind the idea of horizontal lines and how it can be related to death.
